Hi Heath, I was delighted with the job you did to the parquet floor in our downstairs toilet as part of insurance repairs following a water leak. That you took care to get into the edges and corners and didn't leave any mess was excellent. Your advice about drying time and subsequent cleaning were appreciated. I would like to recommend the floor sanding company “Active Floorsanding Services” and its proprietor Heath Nixon. Heath has sanded 2 floors for me now. One a house with tongue and grove flooring - which looks marvellous and also our large kitchen/dinning area of parquet flooring – which looks stunning. The excellent quality of the workmanship has been commented on by all who have seen it. His process is almost dustless and his attention to detail leaves one feeling very satisfied with the result. He is able to indicate a start time and duration for a job and stick to it. He communicates with you throughout the job to make sure you know exactly what is going on. He leaves behind a list of instructions on the care and maintenance of the newly polished floor. I can whole heartedly recommend him.

Dear Heath, I would like to compliment you on the excellent work you did on my floors, both new and old. I asked you to put a subtle colour on the new floor to blend it in with the old, this was not an easy task requiring the mixing of stains but you achieved it admirably. You also brought the old floor back to life without losing the lovely tones that the wood had acquired over forty years of wear, my daughter, who was quite sure I was about to kill the floor, was extremely impressed.

I have been on site with Heath Nixon on a number of occasions at various different jobs and can verify that he understands the importance of following correct worksite and industry procedures. He displays a very professional approach to all aspects of floor sanding and applying flooring finishes. For each particular task he was assessed on he appeared to be very confident and purposeful in what he was doing. At no time did he look unsure or stressed with what he was trying to achieve. In my opinion all that I witnessed Heath do today, was of a high standard and I would have no hesitation in paying for the job if I was his customer. Well done Heath.
